Puffer jackets were a hit this A/W 18 season, so I didn’t shy away from collecting quite a couple.
Although they all took different shapes, lengths and colors, we all know that the one thing that all puffer jackets have in common is that they add a lot of Michellin Man volume to your outfit. As much as this is, please don’t shy away from rocking this item, there’s many ways that cater to different personal styles, that you can rock it!
I’ve styled mine in a 4 ways unique to my personal style, and I hope this helps!
Grabbing a quick coffee or lunch at a cute spot with some girlfriends? This is a look you can jump on!
All this look is, is a basic white tee, cropped wide legged jeans, white booties and some cute sunnies and of course, the sandy brown puffer jacket. So casual and easy to put together for impromptu or ‘not so serious’ commitments.
Off-shoulder is an undying vibe for me. I’m grateful for the day I learnt to put a jacket off my shoulders. And you can do the same to give your casual look a subtle edge.

Puffer? Shift dress? Heels? Totally! This was really one of my favorite ways to style this four year old pretty dress. Also very easy to put together, but the dress you decide to throw on with your puffer, shouldn’t overwhelm it… unless you want to look a hot mess.

This is the kind of look I would rock at a fashion week event or a launch event of some sort, this because this particular puffer jacket is such a statement puffer and the color is one you just can’t ignore. I tied this puffer together with a white turtleneck, cobalt blue high waist pants, and white booties. With statement colors such as this, you’re either going to color block them with other statement colors such as yellow or red with this color, or make them the hero color of your outfit as I have done, and break them with subtle colors such as white or grey.

We all know that second to a Woolies refrigerator, the coldest place ever is an office space! So I figured a way to pack on lots of warmth in a stylish way with my black puffer jacket, for this corporate office look. Initially I thought the puffer would take away from the whole look, but there I was again, wearing it off the shoulder, and it worked and fortunately so did the proportions.
